NOTICE OF CASUAL VACANCY
PARISH OF NEWTON ABBOT – BUSHELL WARD
N O T I C E I S H E R E B Y G I V E N, pursuant to Section 87(2) of the above Act, that a vacancy exists in the office of Town Councillor for the Bushell Ward of the Parish of Newton Abbot.
The vacancy will be filled by the Town Council unless within 14 days from the date hereof notice as indicated below is given requiring an election to be held.
An election to fill the vacancy will be held if notice in writing is given to the Proper Officer, Teignbridge District Council, Forde House, Newton Abbot TQ12 4XX by TEN or more local government electors for the above mentioned Ward requiring that an election be held in which event the election will be held within 60 days from the date of this notice.
Any such notice must be received by the Proper Officer by not later than the 6th day of December 2023.
