We are linked to a number of local carers support groups and provide a range of activities for people with dementia and those caring for them. The independant advice and support that our branch offers is in high demand. All our work depends on our dedicated volunteers and fundraising efforts. Many of our volunteers have first hand experience of caring for someone with dementia which adds a special dimension to what we offer. At their weekly group meetings the children and young people take part in games, craft activities, singing and drama. The groups also organise walks, camps and other outings at weekends and in the holidays.
