I was born and bred in Kingsteignton on 3rd July 1953 and attended the local primary school and furthered my education at Highweek Secondary school for Boys in Newton Abbot.
On leaving school at 15 I trained to become a HGV fitter working for a local haulage company, after my apprenticeship I started working for WBB where I spent the next 26 years before taking redundancy in 2001, I have now retired from the Department for Transport as an Enforcement Support Officer giving me more time to put into the Town and my Town Council duties.
I have a son and a daughter, both married with children of their own.
I very much enjoy my role as a Councillor and am always keen to support the town in any way I can.
I am involved with various organisations within the town all of which I of which I keenly support
I am also a District Councillor where I put the interests of the residents of Newton Abbot first and foremost.
