MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE HELD ON TUESDAY 31ST AUGUST 2010 AT 2.00 P.M. NAMING OF STREETS AND NUMBERING OF HOUSES Application No. 10/01820/MAJ - Land north of Frankton, Jetty Marsh Road, Newton Abbot - 14 apartments with associated access and parking for Mr P. England. The Committee was of the view that the District Council should be requested to include the name ‘Dolbeare’ in the development’s address to reflect the historic connection with ‘Dolbeare’s Meadows’. 153. DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL APPLICATIONS None. 154. TEIGNBRIDGE DISTRICT COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT CONTROL COMMITTEE/PLANNING APPLICATIONS AT VARIANCE WITH TOWN COUNCIL’S OBSERVATIONS The Committee noted the following:- (a) The District Council raised no objections to DCC Application No. DCC/3075/2010 – Land North of river Teign/Greenhill Way/Racecourse/Hackney Marshes for 2.3 km of footpath/cycleway comprising combination of metalled surface and timber boardwalk – although the County Council had withdrawn the application; (b) Applications 10/02395/ADV and 10/01731/COU had been submitted to the District Council’s Development Control Committee but the outcomes were unknown; (c) Dismissed Appeal decisions on Application references 09/03721/FUL and 09/03036/FUL – Milber Service Station, Shaldon Road and rear of 131 East Street respectively. 155.
